Lenovo unveils new Moto Tab in USA
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, Moto Tab is new tablet from Lenovo targeting those who need tablet for entertainment. This tablet comes with a 10.1″ FullHD display and has a huge 7000mAh battery onboard. Starting this Friday, AT&T customers can visit att.com/mototab or an AT&T store to purchase the Moto Tab for $15 a month for 20 months with an AT&T Installment plan, or $299.99 with no contract. Lenovo has also announced Home Assistant Pack stand and Bluetooth ThinkPad keyboard with touchpad accessories and both the accessories will be compatible with Moto Tab.
Moto Tab comes with a ThinkPad like matte black shell. Biggest feature of the Moto Tab is the ability to quickly access favourite shows movies and content in a single swipe from home screen or lock screen. Moto Tab is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and has 2GB of RAM onboard. There is 32GB of storage which can be expanded using microSD card (up to 128GB). Dual speakers and Dolby Atmos® will complement the brilliant FHD IPS screen to deliver cinematic experience.
The front facing home button below the display panel has integrated fingerprint reader making it easy to unlock the tablet. At launch, Moto Tab runs Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and like other Motorola products, this one too has minimal changes and is mostly stock UI. Kids Mode is available and this mode enabled dedicated experience for kids with curated content and approved websites setup by parents using parental controls.
From the looks, the tablet looks like a solid option for content consumption. With practicality given precedence over aesthetics, Lenovo did hit the right balance between features and look. Lenovo should have used newer Snapdragon 6 series chipset as SD625 is showing signs of aging and more and more users are now viewing 4K content.
