Lenovo PHAB tablet released in India for 12k INR
Lenovo PHAB is a new 7″ tablet (lenovo calls this hybrid tablet) that runs Android Lollipop operating system. The Lenovo PHAB is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip and is priced at Rs.11,999/- in India, available on Flipkart. The tablet is also on sale in China. For those who love making phone calls from a tablet, the PHAB comes with Dual SIM card slots (micro-SIM) and support 4G LTE in India. Though its a 7″ tablet, the Lenovo PHAB weighs just 250 grams and is just 8.9mm thin.
Lenovo’s PHAB Plus and made it to our tablet recommendation list, thanks to great design and affordable price tag. Now, Lenovo has taken a further step ahead in providing a VFM tablet for the masses an an even more affordable price. Th 7″ display on the Lenovo PHAB has 720p resolution, there is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage to feed data to the processor. Users can expand onboard storage by up to 64GB using microSD card. There is a 13mp rear camera and a 5mp front facing camera.
Lenovo PHAB comes with built in FM Radio, something that not many tablets provide, also has built in GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi.
Lenovo has launched its Phab smartphone-tablet hybrid in India. Priced at Rs. 11,999, the phablet is the lite variant of the Phab Plus smartphone that was launched in India in October last year at Rs. 20,990. The Lenovo Phab is for now exclusively available via Flipkart.
To recall, the Lenovo Phab phablet was first unveiled at IFA 2015, while its higher-specced sibling was introduced a few days before that in China. There is a 4250mAh battery onboard that can give up to 24 hours of talk time and 20 days of standby time (unto)..

As for optics, the Phab bears a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Lenovo Phab offers 4G LTE support for Indian LTE networks, and also offers Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, and Micro-USB connectivity options. It bears a 4250mAh battery that’s rated to deliver up to 24 hours of talk time, and up to 20 days of standby time. The company is also touting Dolby Atmos audio technology.
The Phab weighs 250 grams, and measures 186x97x8.9mm. Currently the smartphone has only been listed in its Tuxedo Black colour variant, though it was launched internationally with Polar White, Aqua Blue, and Cherry Red colour variants as well. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and digital compass.
