Lenovo K80 becomes the second phone to come with 4 GB RAM, costs $290
Lenovo K80 was just introduced to the world. The Chinese giant has unveiled the K80 in China, sporting a 5.5 inch full HD display and a whopping 4 GB of RAM.
The Lenovo K80 becomes the second phone to come with 4 GB RAM, after the Asus Zenfone 2 which was announced three months ago at the Consumer Electronics Show. The Lenovo K80 features a 5.5 inch full HD display and unlike Asus, Lenovo is going for only two versions of the device. There is a quad core Intel Atom Z3580 processor, clocked at 1.8 GHz. The cheaper version will come with 2 GB RAM with the other specs remaining the same.
There is a 13 MP camera on the back and dual LED flash. Lenovo has also thrown in Optical Image Stabilization. Lenovo is being generous with the internal storage as well, with 64 GB onboard storage. There will be a huge 4000 mAh battery to last you nearly two days of normal usage.
The Lenovo K80 will be available for $290 for the 4 GB RAM version and $240 for the 2 GB RAM version. Considering other specs, this is an extremely good price. Unfortunately, this will most likely end up as a China-only device. The Lenovo K80 will be available in China starting April 30.
