Lenovo A5000 available in India for INR 10,250

Lenovo is continuing to expand its portfolio of devices with the recent launch of the Lenovo A5000. The company has been a bit aggressive lately, launching three new devices in the A series – A6000, A6000 Plus and the A7000 recently.

The Lenovo A5000 was launched in Russia a couple of days back, but according to a Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the phone is already available in India for a price of INR 10,250. While this does seem a bit pricey, Lenovo has not announced the device officially for the Indian market yet.

The Lenovo A5000 comes with a 5 inch 720p display, a quad core Mediatek MT6582 processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of internal storage with expansion support via microSD card. The A5000 also has an 8 MP camera and LED flash on the back and a 2 MP front facing camera, just like the A6000. Also present is dual SIM support with dual standby, with a massive 4000 mAh battery.
