LeEeco launches 2nd generation mobiles with CDLA technology, in India [Giveaway Inside]
At a grand event in New Delhi, LeEco launched it second generation of smartphones in India. India being the second largest smartphone market in the world, it has seen an increased interest from many mobile companies in the recent past. LeEco has been fairly successful with their first generation of mobiles, the Le 1s, 1s Eco and Le Max, in India. The second generation of Le Super-phones were announced earlier this year and within a few weeks of its global launch, it is now launched in India as well. These second gen mobiles have made a brave move of getting rid of 3.5 mm audio jack and adopting a proprietary CDLA technology for audio via USB-C port.
Tin Mok, VP of Le Holdings and CEO, APAC, said, “Today is an extremely important day for us in our India journey so far. It marks our entry into the thriving e-commerce industry with the launch of LeMall. Addtionally, we are thrilled to bring our second generation Superphones with supertainment to India. Also, we’re happy to have achieved a significant milestone by pioneering digital lossless sound experiences. As forerunners in bringing the breakthrough technology as well as great features at a disruptive price, we remain committed to bringing best-in-class devices and services to our users in India.”
