LeEco Enter Action Camera Business, Launches Liveman C1 4K Camera
LeEco, the Chinese tech giant, has launched a new action camera. The Liveman C1 is the company’s first product in the action camera industry, competing with the likes of GoPro and the new entrant, Xiaomi Yi.
The LeEco Liveman C1 camera supports video recording up to 4K resolution, at a frame rate of 30 FPS. It is equivalent to Xiaomi Yi‘s first Yi 4K camera, but is bested by the Yi 4K+ in the frame rate department.
Coming to the specs of the Liveman C1 from LeEco, it has a 16 MP camera sensor to the top right. The camera comes with a 140 degree field of view, capturing a great amount of light. The Liveman C1 also features a G-sensor, allowing it to start recording videos when it detects motion. The camera also comes with a 1.8 inch touchscreen, allowing you to view what is being captured, in addition to toggle settings. Other specs include Wi-Fi, microSD card support and a microHDMI port.
Powering the Liveman C1 4K camera is a 1050 mAh battery.
The Liveman C1 camera comes with a waterproof case, allowing you to use the device under water up to 40 metres. It also comes with two self adhesive mounts, extensions and a USB cable. It is currently launched in China, and will be available for purchase starting on January 28. Pricing and wider availability details are not known yet.
