LeEco Le Pro 3 comes with SD821, 6GB of RAM, 64GB storage for just 300$
LeEco Le Pro 3 is the new high performance smartphone from the fast growing Chinese brand. Le Pro 3 will come in four variants (different on amount of RAM and Storage). While the basic variant with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage costs just CNY 1799 ($270), 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will be priced at CNY1999 ($300). There are two special edition variants. Top end 6GB RAM + 128GB variant costs CNY 2999 ($450) while 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant costs CNY2499 ($375). These two are ‘Zhang Yimou’ special editions and come with special content from Great Wall movie. LeEco Le Pro 3 is powered by Qualcomm’s blazing fast Snapdragon 821 chip and has huge 4070mAh battery. Le Pro 3 will be available in China from 28th of September, reservations have already started.
The LeEco Le Pro 3 has a metal unibody design, 98% of body is made out of metal. The display is a 5.5″ FullHD IPS LCD panel with 2.5D arc glass. There is no bezel on the side giving the phone a stunning look. The 4070mAh battery can charge up to 2000mAh in just 30 minutes, thanks to 24QuickCharge 2.0 (wondering why LeEco went with QC 2.0 when QC3.0 is default standard for SD820 and SD821). At launch, the phone comes pre-loaded with EUI 5.8 (based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow).
There is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor for quick unlock and gestures. The LeEco Le Pro 3 supports dual SIM card slots. As expected, there is a USB Type-C port and no 3.5mm analogue audio jack. Le Pro 3 suppots CDLA headsets for lossless digital audio. Coming to the optics, there is a 16mp rear camera that supports PDAF (0.1sec to focus on subject). The front camera has an 8mp sensor.
