Lava release 8000 rupee Iris Alfa L Android in India

Iris Alfa L is a new budget Android smartphone from Indian smartphone maker Lava that is priced at 8,000/- and run Android 5.0 Lollipop. Powered by MediaTek MTK6582M chip, Alfa L is available for purchase starting this week across various retail channels across India.

Alfa L comes with a 5.5” IPS panel display. Screen resolution is set to 960×540 pixels and that comes to 200.26 pixels per inch. MediaTek MTK6582M is clocked at 1.3GHz and has four ARM Cortex A7 cores and ARM Mali 400 GPU. There is a gigabyte of RAM onboard and 8GB of storage out of which 2.32GB can be used by user. 3000mAh battery has rated talktime of 22 hours 06 minutes for 2G connection, 13 hours 15 minutes for 3G and has 12 day rated standby time.

Coming to camera, the 8mp rear camera can record videos in FullHD resolution while the front facing 2mp camera can do 720p HD video recording/calling.
