Jolla C Smartphone launched with Sailfish OS 2.0
Finnish smartphone maker Jolla has launched its second smartphone, dubbed as Jolla C for the Sailfish OS Community with Sailfish OS. It has been priced at€169.
The company is selling only 1,000 units of the Jolla C to its fans and developers. It will be shipped only to EU countries, Norway, and Switzerland in July. Jolla has said that it will not provide warranty on the device.
The Jolla C runs on Sailfish OS 2.0 compatible with Android apps. The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) device features a 5 inch HD ( 720 x 1280 pixels ) IPS display with a pixel density of ~293 ppi.
The device runs on a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor clubbed with 2 GB of RAM. The device comes with 16 GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card.
The Jolla C features an 8 MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front camera for selfies. The device is powered by a 2,500 mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and microUSB v2.0.
