iRiver releases $1300 AK120 pmp for audiophiles
During the time of mp3 players and pmps, iRiver used to be a regular name in blogosphere, making quality devices for mainstream audio lovers. This time, with Astell&Kern AK120, iRiver has targeted audiophiles who wont think twice to empty their pockets for high quality music output. AK120, priced at $1300 comes with a true dual mono aural setup. Two DACs push audio signals indepndently to each channel. By using Wolfson WM8740 DACs, iRiver has made sure that AK120 can deliver crisp and high quality audio. As per iRiver, AK120 delivers audio that truly replicates how the music was recorded.
AK120 comes with 64GB of build in storage space and has two microSD slot, each supporting upto 64GB of memory cards. A handmade leather case is included in the package to protect the player.
