iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus to be available in India from from 29th September
The newly announced iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be available in India from 29th September via Ingram Micro. Ingram Micro announced that the pre-order for these mobiles will start from 22nd September across all their partner stores in the country. Earlier this week iPhone announced their new generation models: iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and also the iPhone X. Following their international launch, it was also announced that India would be in the first wave of countries that would see the iPhone models in the stores. Here is the pricing of these mobiles
- iPhone 8 64 GB – Rs 64000
- iPhone 8 256 GB – Rs 77000
- iPhone 8 Plus 64 GB – Rs 73000
- iPhone 8 Plus 256 GB – Rs 86000
All these mobiles will be available in Space Gray, Silver and Gold colors. The new generation iPhones sport a glass and aluminium body with wireless charging capability. They are powered by the new A11 Bionic chip and also promises some major improvements in the camera department. Though these models appear to be an incremental improvement of their earlier models, iPhone X is the flagship device from Apple this year.
iPhone X will be priced at Rs 89000 for the 64 GB variant and Rs 102000 for the 256 GB variant. This premium model will be available to pre-order from 27th October at Ingram Retail partner stores and other major online retail stores. iPhone X has edge to edge Retina display with Face ID recognition and all the other features of iPhone 8 series.
