iOS gets Google Fiber application
Google Fiber has been the best thing that has happened to internet services and now Google has made just a bit more awesome by releasing an application for iOS devices. Available already on Apple app store, users of Google Fiber network can control Google Fiber TV experience, find and check TV shows and movies that are live on TV or are recording on the Google Fiber DVR and also check on-demand movies available.
Users can also browse, buy and watch on-demand content on iOS devices. Do not that for the app to work, you need to have Google Fiber TV subscription service data which is currently available only in Kansas City. This should make many across the globe wanting to have a shot at Google Fiber and praying ever harder for Google to select their city in near future for Google Fiber.
“For the past month, our Fiber TV customers have been able to control their TVs with any recent Android device. Using the Fiber TV app from the Google Play Store, they can search for programming, browse listings, and select shows or recordings with just the touch or swipe of a finger. Now, iPad users can enjoy this simple, intuitive experience, too.”, said, Tim Jennison, Software Engineer, Google Fiber.
