Intex launches Aqua Twist smartphone for Rs. 5,199
Intex has launched its new budget Aqua Twist smartphone in India. The Aqua Twist is priced at Rs. 5,199 and is listed on Intex’s official website. It is expected to be made available in the market soon.
The Intex Aqua Twist features a 5-megapixel rotating camera. The camera can be rotated to use as either a primary or selfie camera. This feature has been seen in some mid-range devices such as the Oppo N3 and iBall Andi Avonte 5.
The smartphone features a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor paired with 1 GB RAM. The device offers 8 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
It is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device is powered by a 2200mAh which will provide 275 hours of standby time and up to 18 hours of talktime.
Connectivity options include, dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It bears an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. Intex has preloaded apps like Matrabhasha, OLX, Amazon, Goibibo, Freecharge, Saavn, and Hike Messenger among others. The smartphone will be available in black and white colors.
