Indus OS, Indian Android OS forms tie up with Swipe and Celkon
Indus OS, the home grown Android OS variant in India is now ready to be pre-loaded on Celkon and Swipe branded smartphones as Indus has inked a deal with the companies, expanding the reach beyond Micromax. Started in mid 2015, with Micromax’s Unite 3, Indus OS has come a long way and now has 4 million user base (over 35 smartphones in a year). Campus PRIDE will be the first phone from Celkon to come preloaded with Indus OS and the phone will be out in August 2016.
