At IFA 2015, Acer has announced a new All-in-One desktop lineup, Aspire U5 and a tiny 1 litre desktop lineup Revo Build. The first model in Aspire U5 lineup, the U5-710 will be a 23.8” variant, priced at €999 and will be available in EMEA starting in October. M1-601 will be the first model in Revo Build lineup and will be priced at €199 in EMEA and ¥1,999. M1-601 will be available in EMEA from the month of October and will be available in China in December. Both the models will be pre-loaded with Microsoft Windows 10 operating system.
One unique feature of Revo Build series is that the desktop has ThinkPad Stack like functionality where you add additional hardware in the form of blocks. Need more storage, add a 500GB/1TB block that attached to the another block or the base unit using pogo pins and magnetic alignment.
