iBall announce mSLR smartphone with changeable camera lens
Now, this is interesting and kind of unique. iBall’s mSLR Cobalt 4 is created to bring SLR like functionality to smartphones. The mSLR comes with detachable camera lens system. 8x zoom lens, 10x zoom lens, 180 degree fish eye lens and 130 degree wide angle lens can be used with this new smartphone that is made for photography addicts. The phone does look awkward with the lens attached. Powered by 1.4GHz Octacore processor, the phone comes with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system pre-loaded. Priced at 8,499 INR, the phone is available online and at brick and mortar stores.
mSLR Cobalt 4 has a 5” qHD resolution (960×540 pixels) display, 1GB of RAM and a 2000mAh battery. There is 8GB of onboard storage and the user can expand using microSD card. Similar to other budget droids, this phone comes with dual SIM card slots but without 4G LTE support. Other specs include Bluetooth v4, 8mp rear camera, 3.2mp front facing camera.
