Huawei unveils TalkBand B3 fitness tracker
Huawei has used its London event to launch the successor of TalkBand B3. The new smartband has been dubbed as TalkBand B3. The B3 comes with a curved Corning Gorilla Glass on its display. The hybrid smartband works as a fitness tracker and a Bluetooth headset.
The display is PMOLED, with a resolution of 128 x 80. The Display on the TalkBand B3 is monochrome so you can only do basic wearable functions like display messages, time, notifications, alerts, and data.
The TalkBand B3 can track your steps, calories, sleep patterns, runs and cycling events which are then shared with Huawei’s app on your smartphone. Apart from the usual abilities of a smartband, the B3 can be used to answer incoming calls over Bluetooth connectivity. The B3 comes with a built-in microphone and you can simply press a button to accept a call.
The Huawei TalkBand B3 is powered by a small 91mAh battery that can last up to 3-4 days on normal usage or six hours if you are using it to talk on the phone.
The Huawei TalBand 3 Active models will be available in white and black for 169 euros. The Classic models will available in be biege or brown for 199 euros while the Elite model will be available in titanium grey for 249 euros. Availability and release dates are yet to be revealed.
