Huawei Nova 2 Lite released in Philippines, to come to India soon
Huawei Nova 2 Lite, the new budget smartphone from the Chinese electronics giant, is now official and will go on sale from 23rd of March in Philippines. Priced at 9,990 Peso, the Nova 2 Lite comes with a 5.99″ minimal bezel display and dual rear cameras.
It is good to see that the Huawei Nova 2 Lite runs Android 8 Oreo and has EMUI 8 overlay UI on top. The display is 5.99″ big but the bummer is that the panel has 1440×720 pixel resolution and that would be a stretch. If you have used a phone that has much smaller display with 1080p resolution, you will notice reduction in clarity with this phone. The phone comes with 4G LTE and has support for VoLTE. There is a microUSB port at the bottom. Huawei should’ve used the newer Type-C port as this is becoming more and more common. Phone measures 76.7×158.3×7.8mm and has 155 grams weight.
Huawei Nova 2 Lite is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 budget chipset with 8-core CPU. There is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage onboard. if you want more space, you can expand using microSD card. The battery is rated at 3000mAh. It is not replaceable though as the phone has metal unibody design. Coming to optics, there is a 13mp main camera and a 2mp second rear camera. At the front, there is an 8mp selfie camera.
