Huawei Honor 5X launched in India for Rs. 12,999
Huawei has launched yet another smartphone in India under the mid-range segment. It has launched the Huawei Honor 5X in India for Rs. 12,999. The Honor 5X smartphone is available in Grey, Silver and Sunset Gold color options through Flipkart and Amazon.
The Huawei Honor 5X is powered by 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor clubbed with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.
The Honor 5X was initially unveiled in China in October and was launched in two variants – with 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM, priced at CNY 999 (Rs. 10,200) and CNY 1,399 (Rs. 14,300) respectively.
The Honor 5X runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 Lite on top and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. The battery supports Quick Charge 3.0, which can charge up to 50 percent battery in 30 minutes. The device features a fingerprint sensor with the company’s latest Fingerprint 2.0 technology which unlocks the handset in as little as 0.5 seconds.
The Huawei Honor 5X features a 13-megapixel primary camera with dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm wide-angle lens, 5P lens, and Blue Glass IR filter along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture, 22 mm wide-angle lens, 1.4-micron pixel size.
On the connectivity front, the phone supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
