Huawei Honor 4C and Honor Bee launched in India for INR 8,999 and INR 4,999
Huawei has launched two new smartphones in India under the Honor brand. The Chinese company has been extensively expanding its portfolio of Android smartphones in India looking to seize the opportunities in the affordable smartphones segment and these two new launches build on that effort.
The Huawei Honor 4C and the Huawei Honor Bee smartphones try to compete in the budget and the entry level ranges, with the Honor 4C priced at INR 8,999 and the Honor Bee priced at INR 4,999.
The Honor 4C comes with a 5 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Huawei is using its home made Kirin line of processors, and the Honor 4C comes with the Kirin 620 octa core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, with 2 GB RAM and 8 GB expandable internal storage. Disappointingly, it still runs Android 4.4 KitKat with EMUI 3.0 on top. Huawei has placed a 13 MP camera on the back and dual LED flash. There is a 5 MP camera on the front. There is support for Dual SIM, but 4G is missing from the list. A 2560 mAh battery powers the Honor 4C.
The Huawei Honor Bee comes with a 4.5 inch 850 x 480 pixels TN display, a 1.2 GHz Spreadtrum processor, Android 4.4 KitKat with EMUI 3.0 Lite and 1 GB RAM with 8 GB expandable internal storage. A combination of 8 MP main camera, LED flash and a front facing 2 MP camera handle the imaging and video duties. Dual SIM, 3G and a 1730 mAh battery keep the Honor Bee powered on.
