Huawei, Asus and OnePlus powerbanks now available in India starting at INR 1,399
Running out of battery on your smartphone? If Xiaomi’s excellent Mi 10400 and 5200 mAh powerbanks were not enough already, three new companies are offering their high capacity powerbanks to compete with Xiaomi – Asus, Huawei and OnePlus.
OnePlus and Huawei are offering their powerbanks to compete with the highly popular Mi Powerbanks from Xiaomi. Although the price is 40% higher than that of the Xiaomi powerbank, OnePlus is hoping its better design and two 5V-2A ports will help it attract customers. The OnePlus powerbank’s capacity is rated at 10,000 mAh. It is worth noting that OnePlus’s powerbank is based on Lithium Polymer tech unlike the Lithium Ion tech used in the Xiaomi Mi Powerbank.
Huawei’s Honor 13000 mAh powerbank also costs INR 1399. But with the 40% increase in price, Huawei is also offering 25% extra capacity. Thankfully, Huawei’s powerbank is based on Lithium Ion tech and comes with two charging ports.
Asus doesn’t want to be left out of the action either, so the company today launched the ZenPower bank with a capacity of 10050 mAh, priced at INR 1,499. The black colour version will cost INR 1,599, for unknown reasons. Asus will make the ZenPower powerbank available starting May 15th at Asus Exclusive stores and Flipkart.
