Huawei Ascend P7 goes on sale in India for Rs. 27,999 – 5” Full HD display, 1.8 GHz Quad-core processor
Huawei Ascend P7 has finally gone on sale in India, via Flipkart and Amazon. At a price of Rs. 27,999, the Huawei Ascend P7 packs quite a punch with a 5” full HD IPS LCD, a quad-core processor and a 13 MP camera.
The Ascend P7 comes with Huawei’s own processor – the HiSilicon Kirin 910T is based on the 28nm process. Assisting it is the Mali-450 MP4 GPU. Here are the specs of the device at a glance –
- Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI 2.3
- 5” IPS LCD display, full HD resolution, ~441 PPI
- 1.8 GHz quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910T processor, Mali-450Mp4 GPU
- 13 MP camera, LED flash, 1080p recording; front facing 8 MP camera
- 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, expandable via microSD card
- Wi-Fi b/g/n, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA
- 2500 mAh battery
- Rs. 27,999
It seems a bit on the pricier side, considering the fact that it uses a processor that is not so great in its price range – the Nexus 5 fares way, way better and it is currently retailing at the Rs. 26,000 mark for the 16 GB version. What the Ascend P7 has in its favour is the camera and the expandable internal memory. And if you swing that way, Huawei has a good looking custom UI with a lot of tweaks and additions.
