Huawei announces Honor V8 with 4 GB RAM
Huawei has announced another smartphone in its Honor series during a event in China. It has announced the Honor V8. It is now available for registration and will be available in China from May 17. It will be available in Ceramic White, Platinum Silver, Rose Gold, Champagne gold, Ice Silver and Gray color options.
There are three variants of the device. The first variant comes with a 5.7-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with a pixel density of ~386ppi and is powered by a 2.3GHz Octa-Core Kirin 950 chipset clubbed with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. This variant is priced at 2299 yuan.
The second variant comes with the same specs as the first variant and has some additional connectivity support. It is priced at 2499 yuan. It features a 5.7-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and is powered by a 2.3GHz Octa-Core Kirin 950 chipset clubbed with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
The Premium variant comes with 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 X 1440) display with a pixel density of ~515ppi. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Octa-Core Kirin 95 processor with Mali T880-MP4 GPU. It comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. This device has been priced at 2799 yuan.
All three devices will come with expandable storage up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 skin on top.
The device sports dual 12-megapixel primary cameras with dual-tone LED flash, laser autofocus, BSI sensor, and an f/2.2 aperture along with an 8-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture.
There is a fingerprint sensor on the back. It is powered by a 3,500mAh battery with fast charging support. Connectivity options on the device include Hybrid dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, Fingerprint sensor and Infrared sensor.
