Huawei announce Honor 5X Android smartphone

Huawei is on a roll. They went to top in China, their smartphone and tablet market share is going up globally. This week, they have announced a new mid range phablet, the Honor 5X. Honor 5X is equipped with a 5.5” FullHD IPS display and is powered by Snapdragon 616 chip (with octa core CPU and Adreno 405 GPU). There is 16GB of storage onboard and the phone will be available in 2GB and 3GB RAM variants. Priced at $200 for 2GB variant and $220 for 3GB variant, Honor 5X is already available in the market in China. The 3GB model also comes with a finger print sensor.
