HTC U Ultra Launched With Snapdragon 821
HTC has launched its flagship device in the U series. The device has been dubbed as HTC U Ultra. The device has been priced at $749 and will be available for pre-order from htc.com. The device is available in Sapphire Blue, Comestic Pink, Brilliant Black and Ice White colors.
HTC U Ultra Specs
The HTC U Ultra runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with HTC Sense UI skinned on top. The device 5.7-inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The 64 GB version comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and the 128 GB version comes with Sapphire Glass.
The HTC U Ultra is powered by a 64 bit Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clubbed with Adreno 530 GPU. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 / 128 GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the HTC U Ultra features a 12 MP primary camera with Laser Auto Focus, 1.55um pixels, f/1.8 aperture, Optical Image Stabilisation, 4K video recording and dual-tone LED flash. On the front, the device sports a 16 MP secondary camera f/2.0 aperture and UltraPixel mode.
The U Ultra comes with HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition and 3D Audio recording with 4 microphones. The device measures 162.4 x 79.8 x 8 mm and weighs 161 grams.
The HTC U Ultra is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS, NFC and USB 3.1 Type-C.
