HTC release One ME in India for INR 40500
HTC has announced that the One ME high end Android running smartphone will be available in India from end of June with a price tag of Rs.40,500/-. There are some things that HTC does that we simply do not understand. HTC One ME is extremely identical to the One M9+ in specifications, right down to the dimensions. HTC One M9+ has been struggling to pick up sale due to its inferior specs when compared to flyaway hit Samsung Galaxy S6 and to make things worse, the One M9+ is priced around 20% higher than the GS6 and costs more than the LG G4. Now, HTC has released One ME which is essentially the One M9+ with a plastic body and this one too costs as much as the Samsung Galaxy S6.
One ME comes with a 5.2″ 2560×1440 pixel resolution display and is powered by MediaTek MT6795 chip (octa core CPU + PowerVR G6200 GPU). There is 3GB of RAM And 32GB of storage onbard. Onboard storage can be expanded using microSD card slot (up to 128 GB cards can be used). There is a 20mp rear camera and a 4mp ultra pixel front facing camera. Battery is rated at 2840mAh. One ME will support 4G LTE bands in India and has dual SIM card slots. At launch, One ME will run Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.
