HTC announces Desire Eye selfie phone
The selfie war is heating up and today, HTC is ready with their entrant into this war, the Desire Eye. With a 13mp front facing camera with dual tone dual LED flash, dedicated camera shutter button, 5.2″ fullHD display, dust and water resistant body, powerful quad core Snapdragon 801 CPU, this phone is tailor made for those addicted to selfies and photography. HTC has announced a new Zoe update (bringing Zoe app out of beta, with many new features added to the already impressive set of features) and announced a new application named ‘HTC Eye Experience’. Eye experience will be available only on Desire Eye for now but will be release for many more HTC smartphones in near future. Later this year, HTC will release Zoe to non-HTC Android smartphones and also to iOS. We do not have an update on when this phone will be made available globally but we sure are interested.
Split Capture uses front and rear cameras and divides the photo 50-50. Another feature named Crop-Me-In creates a photo with the person taking the photo inserted into the image taken by rear camera.
