We thought that HTC will come up with something interesting, something that will take the spotlight off of Samsung and LG this year. But it turned out to be couple of midrange smartphones, One X9, Desire 825, Desire 530 and Desire 630. As a matter of fact, The HTC One X9 was launched in China back in China and will now be pushed to other parts of the world. Powered by MediaTek Helio X10 chip, the One X9 comes with a 5.5″ 1080p FullHD display. The new phones come with a new design called ‘Micro Splash’ where paint is sprinkled on the back case to make it looks different and fresh.
Desire 825 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, has a 5.5″ 720p HD Super-LCD display, has BoomSound built in and a new Hi-Res audio headset. Desire 630 is powered by Snapdragon 400 and has 2GB of RAM. Desire 530 is a pure budget smartphone powered by Snapdragon 210 and has 1.5GB of RAM. Both the phones come with 5″ 720p resolution Super-LCD display. 16GB of storage is standard for these three phones and come with 13mp rear camera. Starting March 2016, Desire 825, 630 and 530 will be available for sale in USA and Europe.
Coming back to the HTC One X9, other specs include a 13mp rear camera, 5mp rear camera and Boom Sound dual front firing speakers. There is a 3000mAh battery under the hood. The One X9 will be available in Grey, Gold, Rose and Silver color options.
