HP announces new 200 series and ProBook 400 series notebooks for businesses
HP has this week announced two new series of business class notebook to improve productivity and increased connectivity for businesses. HP ProBook 400 series is for budget conscious buyers and five SMB models will be released at launch. 200 series on the other hand is a fully loaded series that focuses entirely on performance with wide range of wireless capabilities. Also announced are new models of HP Scanjet Sheet-feed Scanner, HP LaserJet and HP Officejet printers.

HP ProBook 400 Series
HP ProBook 400 Series notebook PCs come with 13.3”, 14, 15.6” and a massive 17.3” display sizes and are powered by AMD or Intel processors, support hybrid hard drives. When compared to current generation ProBooks, 400 series models are upto 36% thinner and 18% lighter. Meteorite Grey casing with aluminum accents (HP’s new design DNA/elements) is used in ProBook 400 series. 400 series also supports optional 4G WWAN connectivity and HP Client Security. These notebooks are Skype ready and support DTS Sound+ for high quality audio/video conferencing.
HP 200 Series

200 series is high performance series, powered by high end CPUs/APUs from Intel and AMD. These notebooks come with HP 3D DriveGuard to protect the notebooks from impact (fall, bump etc). 200 series comes with 14” and 15.6” display options and also have wide range of wireless Users can use the HDMI port to connec to HD displays and the onboard Altec Lansing speakers provide great audio quality.
