HP announce ElitePad HealthCare tablet

HP’s ElitePad series is one of the best take on tablets by an OEM. This series has various models and each model is designed for specific business needs. HP has announced a new tablet for healthcare industry, the ElitePad HealthCare Tablet. Security and patient record safety is of atmost importance for this industry and to address this, ElitePad HealthCare tablet comes with security features like certified smart card reader, TPM, full disk encryption, HP client security, HP BIOS protection. This tablet runs Windows 8.1 operating system.

HP ElitePad Healthcare Tablet comes with antimicrobial coating, is dust and water resistant (IP54 certification). Thanks to these, the tablet can be cleaned using sanitizing solution. ElitePad HealthCare tablet is powered by Intel Atom Z3795 chip and has a 10.1” FullHD touchscreen display. There is an 8mp camera at the back and the front facing camera is 2.1mp.
