Google working with Qualcomm on a Project Tango smartphone
Google is continiuing the work on its much hyped and awaited Project Tango. In a latest announcement, the company revealed that it is working with Qualcomm on a Project Tango smartphone, with 3D sensing camera tech.
At the moment, Google is selling a Project Tango tablet for $512. The new partnership with Qualcomm will see the popular chipmaker include 3D sensing camera technology into its smartphone reference designs. However, how long before it makes its way into consumer oriented smartphones is still unknown, considering that the Project Tango platform is still in experimental stages.
