Google now lets you customize your OnHub router
Google has today announced the launch of three new ‘Shells’ for its Google OnHub router which allow users to customise their routers outer appearance, to help them blend in more satisfactorily with their surroundings and the style of your home. The Google OnHub router was launched earlier this year and now has a selection of interchangeable shells that are supported by the OnHub from TP-LINK.
Google said in a blog post that the three shells are set to go on sale later today in the U.S. for $29-$39. If the three standard covers aren’t fancy enough for you, check out the OnHub Makers site. Google asked a group of artists and designers to “reimagine the router and create unique shells for OnHub.” They have used materials from hand-blown glass to colorful papier-mâché to create one-of-a-kind concept designs.
