Google launches Gboard for iOS
Google has launched Gboard for iOS. The keyboard comes with a Google search button which allows users to search and send information, GIFs, emojis, and much more right from the keyboard.
With Gboard, users can search for images, emojis, GIFs, local businesses and more from the keyboard. The keyboard aims at making searches and texting easier. If you want to send a emoji or a GIF, just press the Google button on the keyboard and type the emoji name. The Gboard will work with all apps that support a keyboard.
If you wish to search for a place, just press the Google button and type its name. You can share the address of the place just by clicking it.
This will definitely help when planning a event. Now you do not have to open the browser to search for addresses of locations and then go through the hassle of copying them and then sending.
Currently the Gboard is available only for iOS users with English language in the U.S. Google in its blog post has said that more languages will be added soon.
Gboard features:
- Search and send anything from Google: Nearby stores and restaurants, Videos and images, Weather forecasts, News and articles, Sports scores and anything else you’d search on Google
- GIFs – Search GIFs for the best reaction
- Emoji Search – Find the perfect emoji, faster
- Glide Typing — Type faster by sliding your finger from letter to letter
