Google and ASUS announced Nexus Player, new entertainment and gaming device
This is the brand new Nexus Player, complete with a remote and a game pad. Looks like we are going to see the living room entertainment market heat up with this release. The new Nexus Player is a streaming media player that can play movies, music and videos and its also an Android gaming device where you can play any game using the game pad. Designed by ASUS, this might open up a huge market for entertainment consoles. Player is Google Cast ready and lets you play your videos/music from any Chromebook/iOS/Android device to your TV.
