Google announce offline navigation for Maps application
Google’s Maps application is one of the most used navigations apps and lack of offline navigation has been its Achilles’s heel. This week, Google has announced that offline navigations is rolling to Google Maps and that the update should be available soon for all. The updated Maps application will allow users to download an area of the world to the phone or tablet. Users can avail turn by turn navigation even when the application is in offline mode.
