Gionee S9 Launched In China
Gionee has launched its latest smartphone, dubbed as the Gionee S9 at an event in China. The device has been priced at CNY 2,499. The S9 will be available in China starting from November 25 and will be available in Black, Gold, and Rose Gold color options.
Gionee S9 Specifications
The Gionee S9 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS 3.5 skinned on top. The device features a 5.5 inch full HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device comes with a pixel density of ~401 PPI.
The S9 is powered by an Octa Core Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 processor clubbed with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256 GB via microSD card.
The S9 features a Dual camera setup with 13 MP + 5 MP camera. It comes with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. On the front, the device sports a 13 MP secondary camera.
The Gionee S9 is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G with VoLTE, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB.
