Gionee S6 Pro launched with 4 GB RAM
Chinese smartphone maker, Gionee has launched its latest smartphone in the S series, dubbed as the Gionee S6 Pro. The device has been priced at CNY 1,999. It is the successor to the Gionee S6.
The Gionee S6 Pro runs on Amigo 3.2 OS based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It features a 5.5 inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with a pixel density of ~401 ppi.
The S6 Pro is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P MT6755m processor clocked at 1.8GHz with Mali-T860MP2 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.
The Gionee S6 Pro sports a 13 MP primary camera with phase-detection auto-focus and LED flash. On the front, it comes with an 8 MP camera for selfies. The S6 Pro comes with camera modes such as night mode, panorama mode, burst mode, magic focus, HDR and GIF mode among others.
The Gionee S6 Pro is powered by a 3,130mAh battery that is supposed to provide up to 39 hours of talk-time and up to 558 hours of standby time. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and USB Type-C.

The Gionee S6 Pro has been priced at CNY 1,999 and is available to buy from Gionee’s website in China. It is available in Gold, Rose Gold, and Silver color variants. There is no information about the global availability of the device.
