Gionee S6 launched in India for Rs. 19,999
Gionee S6 was launched a few months ago and it is available for purchase in India, making it the first country apart from China where the device is now officially available. The Gionee S6 has been priced at Rs. 19,999 and is available in Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold color options on Flipkart.
The Gionee S6 is a part of company’s S line-up of smartphones and it weighs 147 grams, and measures 151.9mm x 74.6mm x 4-6.9mm. The Gionee S6 features a 5.5-inch 720p super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device comes with dual sim(Micro+Nano) functionality and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Gionee’s in-house Amigo 3.1 OS on top.
The Gionee S6 is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek octa-core MT6753 processor clubbed with 3 GB of RAM. It has 32 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The Gionee S6 features a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
In the connectivity department, the device has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS, 4G LTE (including Band 40 and VoLTE), USB OTG and USB Type-C (2.0) connectivity. The device is powered by a 3,150mAh battery. The device includes sensors such as proximity sensor, accelerometer, magnetometer, ambient light sensor, motion sensor, and gyroscope.
