Gionee has launched a new phone in China, called the S5.1 Pro. A small upgrade over the original Elife S5.1, the new ‘Pro’ version comes with a bigger screen, more RAM and better cameras. There is no information on why it does not carry the ‘Elife’ brand name, but it’s probably an oversight.
Running on an octa core Mediatek chipset, the Gione S5.1 Pro comes with the MT6753 processor, with 8 Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz each. There is a 5 inch AMOLED display, with the resolution at 720p.

Gionee has not released information about the pricing of the S5.1 Pro. It is also going to be available only in China for now, but we should know more details about expanded availability soon.
