Gionee S Plus launched in India for Rs. 16,999
Gionee has launched the Gionee S Plus today. It is the successor to the Elife S7 and is priced at Rs. 16,999. It will be available both online and offline starting this week. The Gionee S Plus features a USB Type-C port, which is the highlight of the device at this price point.
It is a dual sim phone and it will be available in three colours including Dark Blue, White, and Golden colours. The S Plus runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop that’s skinned with the company’s Amigo 3.1 UI. It has a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280) Super Amoled screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection.The S Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 3GB of RAM. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded using a microSD card (up to 64GB).
The S Plus features a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera. It is powered by a 3150mAh battery.
