Gionee M7 Power big battery smartphone released in India
Gionee M7 Power, with 5000mAh battery, can provide up to 56 hours of talk time. This phone is officially released in India today and is priced at Rs.16,999/-. Gionee has tied up with Reliance to provide buyers an extra 10GB of data for 10 reacharges till September 2018. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset, the Gionee M7 Power comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat at launch.
Gionee M7 Power will be Amazon India exclusive in India and will be available from 25th of November. Pre-orders can be done from 17th of November. The display has very thin bezels but the bummer is that the 6″ display only has a 720p resolution. Thats pretty low for a 6″ panel. The Snapdragon 435 that powers M7 Power ain’t meant for a phone priced at 17k INR. It looks like Gionee’s primary objective with this phone is to get maximum battery power. By using a low resolution display and a low power chipset, the battery life can be extended.
Coming to optics, Gionee M7 Power has a 13 mp rear camera and an 8mp front facing camera. Gionee has included 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Other specs include Dual SIM card slots, older micro-USB port, Bluetooth v4.1, 3.5mm audio port. Overall the specifications are decent but in the country where better specced phones are available with lower price tag, it is not easy for Gionee to sell M7 Power.
