Gionee announce Elife S6 Android smartphone

Finally, Gionee S6 is official. Priced at 1,699 Yen, Gionee S6 is powered by MediaTek MT6753 chip and comes with a 5.5″ 720p AMOLED display. As of now, the phone will be available in China in a week’s time. At launch, Gionee S6 will come with Android 5.1.1 preloaded (with Amigo 3.1 overlay UI).

There is Nano SIM and a microSIM card slots on the phone, supporting 4G LTE network. The battery is rated at 3150mAh and should be able to power the phone for at least a day. The chip, MediaTek MT6753 has an octa core CPU and Mali-T720MP3 GPU. There is a 13mp rear camera and 5mp front facing camera. Other specs include 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, microSD card slot (up to 128GB), Bluetooth v4, USB Type-C port.
