Garmin Vivofit 3 is the new fitness tracker from Garmin, built for capturing stats from activities like walking, running, biking, swimming and elliptical training. Vivofit 3 is compatible with Move IQ auto activity detection and intensity minutes, syncs to Garmin Connect online fitness community). As expected, Vivofit 3 is waterresistanct for up to 50 metres and has one year battery life. Garmin has also released colourful accessory bands, designs are from Garmin Style Collection. Available from 2Q16, Vivofit 3 will cost $99.99 for regular size band. Dark Camo band will cost $109.99 and Gabrielle bundle will cost $119.99. The accessory bands are available for $29.99 each. Jonathan Adler designs are available for $39.99 and Alexandra accessory pack will also cost the same.
Vivofit 3 comes with a backlit display that shows step counter, calories burned, distance covered and intensity minutes (apart from time and date). When a user is inactive for long, the move bar will create audible alert reminding the person to start walking and few minutes of activity will reset the bar.
