Color OS, FunTouch OS etc are a bit too aggressive in killing applications. Even though the application is there in the background, OS would’ve already ended the session. This is the reason why, when you use Vivo phone, you will see that, no matter how much RAM is there, applications reload when you switch to that. In this guide, we will show you how to enable these applications to keep running in the background and sync data.

From Control Center
- Slide up from the bottom to open Control Center.
- You will see a list of running apps in the control center.
- For an app that you want to keep running in the background without killing, slide down on the application icon.
- Tap on lock like icon.
- Once this is done, your application will be added to speedup whitelist and always run in the background.
From setting application
- Open Settings application.
- Tap on Battery.
- Tap on High Background power consumption.
- You can now go to the application and tap on the toggle next to it. Blue toggle means that the application will run in high background power consumption mode.
