Delhi based tech start-up launches FrndiNeed, helps you ditch cabs and travel with friends
Smartube Entertainment, a Delhi based startup has developed an interesting new application, FrndiNeed that helps people travel with friend or a trustworthy person so that they can reduce the reliance on public cabs most of the time. This is a bit similar to ride sharing and carpooling but there is more to this application.
Using FrndiNeed, you can create a network of friends whom you can trust to share a ride or whom you can rely on pick you from your location. You can check if any of your friends are neaby, request for lift, poke for planning a ride together, plan MeetUps etc. FrndiNeed will track your location using GPS for this. There is a SOS tab that will send emergency signal to your ‘emergency contact list’. When one of your friends accepts your request for life, the application will provide you a route to follow to reach your friend.
