- Oneplus 6 will have a notch. Like it or not, Notch is the trend this year and Oneplus 6 will sport it. After making this announcement on its forum, Oneplus had to face a lot of backlash from the community. They were accused of not listening to the fans and just going by Apple-set trends.
- Oneplus quickly responded to this allegation and clarified that the Oneplus 6 will have a software option to hide the notch. But when a large portion of the crowd does not like the “notch”, why have it in the first place? Frankly, I don’t see a future for the notch culture and it is a fad.
- It is no secret that the Oneplus 6 will run on Snapdragon 845.
- Apart from the 6 GB variant, this year we will see Oneplus 6 with an 8 GB variant just like the Oneplus 5T, but the 6 will have a whopping 256 GB internal storage variant.

- Just like the iPhone Gestures, the Oneplus 6 may have gesture control for multitasking and navigation. But this is not new to Android and we have seen many mobiles in the past with such controls.
- Oneplus 6 may continue to sport optic AMOLED screens and the speculated 6.3 inch display may still be on a FHD+ resolution.
- Oneplus 6 will have the fingerprint sensor at the back and not under the display!

- Oneplus 6 may have a glass body back and this may mean that we may get wireless charging on the Oneplus 6.
- This could be the most expensive Oneplus mobile ever. As always, the price of Oneplus devices has been steadily increasing. But this year, we may see a steep jump in the pricing. The base variant could be priced above 45k in India.
- We may get a dual rear camera with 20+16 MP sensors and a 20 MP front camera.
- The battery capacity may be about 3450 mAh
