Elephone P8000 is a global LTE smartphone powered by MediaTek chip
Elephone has announced a new smartphone, P8000 running Android. This would be one of the first smarpthones that is powered by new MediaTek MT6753 chip that supports LTE bands across the globe there by making this phone a true global LTE smartphone. With this, MediaTek will join the elite club of chip makers (Qualcomm, Samsung) that can provide LTE enabled chips for all regions. Elephone P8000 comes with a 5.5” FullHD display and runs Lollipop version of Android. P8000 is priced at $210.
MediaTek MT6753 is a 64-bit octa-core WorldMode® 4G LTE® platform based on the ARM® Cortex®-A53 64-bit processor running at 1.5GHz and ARM Mali™-T720 graphics processing unit. P8000 has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and this storage can be expanded using a microSD card (up to 64GB). In line with all other Elephone devices, this phone has a massive 4200mAh battery.
