OxygenOS 10 : How to enable gestures

OxygenOS 10 comes with wide range of gestures. In this guide, we will show you how to enable various gestures. Also, do not miss our “Recommended Smartphones” list that contains best smartphones for every budget.

  • Open [Settings] application.
  • Go to [Buttons & gestures].
  • Tap on [Quick Gestures]. Here, you will find truckload of gestures like:
    • Flip to Mute.
    • Three-finger screenshot.
    • Double tap to wake (when screen is off).
    • Music Control (when screen is off).
    • Raise to Answer or switch from Bluetooth to phone.
    • You will also see Draw an alphabet on screen gestures (when screen is off). For example, you can configure ‘Draw O‘ to open camera or turn on or turn off flashlight etc. This gesture can be very very helpful. You can also enable this to open an application.

Enable Navigation Keys or Navigation Gestures #

  • Open [Settings] application.
  • Go to [Buttons & gestures].
  • Tap on [Navigation bar & gestures].
  • For too long, we used navigation keys for ‘back, home & recents’. It is time that you switch to [Navigation gestures] and use quick gestures to switch between application, go to home screen etc. Good that you can follow instructions and learn these gestures.
  • You can also use [Hide the bottom bar] option if you do not want to see horizontal white bar at the bottom or screen.
