To get this feature, you will have to ditch default Mi Messages application and install Microsoft SMS Organizer. You can get it from Play Store here. Once you install, make Microsoft SMS Organizer your default messaging application.
- Open SMS Organizer application.
- Click on New message to compose new SMS.
- Tap on calendar next to text box.
- Select date and time to schedule SMS.
- Select contact and tap on send.
- The SMS will now be delivered as per scheduled date/time.
