Gone are those days when we used to set monthly data limit of 2GB or whatever. We now have plans with much higher data limit. Yet, for those who use phone as internet router/hotspot, you need a warning that notifies you when you are about to use up your data quota. In this guide, we help you set up daily data limit for your Mi phone. Do note that in MIUI 11, you can only set monthly data limit. There is no provision to set daily data limit. - Open Settings application.
- Go to SIM cards & mobile networks.
- Open set data plan, click on Set data limit.
- Go to Peak data limit and enter warning limit in GB.
- Click on MB and change it to GB.
- Click on When data plan is used up.
- You can select ‘Show warning’ or ‘Warn and turn off mobile data’.
- Keep data usage warning level at 80% and change Usage reset date to date that your plan resets.
